Recently, as the Navigation Pile 801 vessel drove the first steel pipe pile to the design elevation, the Shanghai LNG station line expansion project started.

The project is located in the Shenjiawan operating area of Yangshan Deepwater Port in the Shanghai International Shipping Center. It consists of three parts: a terminal project, a receiving station project and a gas transmission pipeline project. A dedicated berth for 150,000 gross tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) will be built. The designed throughput of the terminal The capacity is 6 million tons per year, which is doubled compared to the first phase of the wharf project.

The wharf project is the throat of the entire project. It is arranged in a butterfly shape and consists of a working platform, a main approach bridge, a torch platform, 6 ship-tying piers and 6 mooring piers. The total construction period is 596 days.

Faced with difficulties such as complex and dense pile foundations, poor hydrological conditions in the construction sea area, and tight project schedules, the Three Navigation Bureau project team selected the Navigation Pile 801, the only fully rotating multi-functional piling ship in China, to help the project pile foundation operations proceed smoothly. And by establishing a strong project management organization and increasing coordination with various teams, we will go all out to build this project into a high-quality project, a green project, and a clean project.

It is reported that the project has been included in the "14th Five-Year Plan" for energy development in Shanghai and the "14th Five-Year Plan" for energy development in Zhejiang Province.
