The project adopts a labor and material contracting model, covering the entire process of material procurement, inspection, transportation, construction, and acceptance, and requires completion before February 1, 2027.

As a landmark project of Sino Russian nuclear power cooperation, Units 3 and 4 of Xudabao Nuclear Power Plant adopt the Russian VVER-1200 third-generation nuclear power technology. The construction is currently progressing smoothly: Unit 3 has completed a total progress of 73.78% and is in the final stage of dome structure construction; Unit 4 has completed 59.69% of the work, and the outer safety shell support grid has been in place, laying the foundation for subsequent lifting operations.
