On June 3, 2024, with the planning of Shaanxi Company of Xicheng Passenger Dedicated Line and the meticulous construction of China Railway Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., the pile foundation construction of Manchuanguan Station of Xishi High-speed Railway was successfully started. This milestone progress not only symbolizes the official start of construction of Manchuanguan Station, but also indicates that the construction of the station building of Xishi High-speed Railway will enter a new stage of rapid advancement.

Manchuanguan Station of Xishi High-speed Railway is located in Shanyang County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. Its yard is large and designed with 2 platforms and 5 lines to ensure efficient train operation. The building area of the station building reaches 3,999 square meters, which is divided into one underground floor and two floors above ground, providing passengers with a comfortable and convenient travel environment. The main functions of the station include passenger station building, station service room, customer service and machine room, etc., which fully meet the travel needs of passengers. As the only town-level high-speed railway station on the entire Xishi High-speed Railway, the construction of Manchuanguan Station is of extraordinary significance. With the completion of Manchuanguan Station, a spectacular high-speed railway landscape belt will be built, injecting new vitality into the ancient town of Manchuanguan, and promoting the prosperity and development of local economy and culture.

The Xi'an-Shiyan high-speed railway is a vital link in the "M"-shaped high-speed railway network in Shaanxi Province. It connects the three cities of Xi'an, Shangluo and Shiyan, and connects with the already built Wuhan-Shiyan high-speed railway. The new main line of this high-speed railway is 255.7 kilometers long, with a designed speed of up to 350 kilometers per hour, ensuring fast and efficient transportation connections. Among them, the total length of the Shaanxi section reaches 169 kilometers, and five stations are set up along the line, namely Xi'an East, Lantian, Shangluo West, Shanyang and Manchuanguan, providing passengers with convenient transfer and travel options.

The opening of the Xishi high-speed railway will greatly shorten the travel time from Xi'an to Shiyan, and achieve fast arrival between the two places within 1 hour.
