In the first half of 2024, Beijing has achieved remarkable results in promoting high-quality economic and social development, with all 320 major urban projects scheduled to be started, with a total investment of more than 400 billion yuan. The smooth progress of this series of major projects demonstrates Beijing's firm determination in the fields of modern industry, infrastructure and urban renewal.

In the field of modern industries, the Lize digital financial Technology Demonstration Park project, as a leader among them, officially kicked off the prelude to comprehensive construction. The project is located in the D area of Lize Financial Business District, which is the last operational land in the South District of Lize, with a total investment of 14 billion yuan. The project covers an area of about 67,800 square meters, and the construction scale is about 497,000 square meters, integrating high-end commercial buildings, commercial complexes, talent apartments and other formats. Lize Digital financial Technology Demonstration Park not only uses the aesthetic design of the world's first-line masters, but also innovates the architectural facade expression and spatial pattern, aiming to become a new landmark building of Lize. After the completion of the project, it will attract digital financial institutions such as the National Digital Financial Technology Testing Center to settle in and further promote the high-quality development of digital finance in the capital.

Infrastructure projects are also well under way. As an important part of Wenyu River ecological governance project, it has been approved by the development and reform department first in all the second phase projects of Wenyu River Park, and has begun to implement. The project is located on the east side of the Future Science City and the Xijia Group, with a total construction area of 105.7 hectares. On the basis of continuing the functions of the first science popularization base, the project is divided into five theme functional areas: carbon neutral garden, Chinese sample, ecological forest, outdoor classroom and ecological camp, and is committed to creating a carbon neutral theme park from perception to practice. The implementation of this project will not only improve the ecological environment quality of Wenyu River Park, but also provide a low-carbon leisure green space for the surrounding residents.

Beijing has also actively promoted a series of urban renewal projects. These projects aim to promote the development of cities in a more livable, business and tourist direction by optimizing the urban spatial layout, improving the quality of urban functions and improving the living environment of residents. The sixth Ring Road High Line Park project and the Zhangjiawan Design Town service complex project are all under intense construction.
