Fuzhou Port Jiangyin Port No. 6 and No. 7 Berth Expansion (Phase I) Project Completed, Adding 386,000 TEUs of New Capacity.

The total investment of the expansion project of No. 6 and No. 7 Berths in Jiangyin Port is 1.96 billion yuan. The original two 50,000-ton container berths will be upgraded to 200,000-ton container berths, which can accommodate one 200,000-ton and one 10,000-ton container ship at the same time. The annual design capacity will be increased from 800,000 TEUs to 960,000 TEUs.

As a landmark key project to enhance the collection and distribution capacity of Fuzhou Port and help Fuzhou build a port-type national logistics hub, the main contents of this expansion (Phase I) project include wharf engineering, port dredging, land formation, and the construction of production ancillary facilities such as substations, equipment rooms, fire pools, and pump rooms.
