On June 7, 2024, Huaneng Jilin Branch and Zhongyi Group signed a cooperation agreement to develop and construct a 250,000-kilowatt wind power project with a self-contained load consumption supporting new energy model.

This project is the first self-contained load consumption supporting wind power project approved by Jilin Province. According to the agreement, Jilin Branch plans to develop and construct a 250,000-kilowatt wind power project in Baicheng area in two phases.

After the project is put into operation, it will provide 880 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity each year, which will open up ideas for Jilin Province to attract investment, expand electricity consumption models, and obtain quota shares.Editor/Zhao E
