At the beginning of the new year of 2024, Huaihua International Land Port has set the "Three Thousand" goal of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, that is, to strive to achieve more than 1,000 trains in the port area, more than 10 million tons of cargo throughput, and more than 100 billion yuan in total output value by 2026. The international freight network has covered 97 ports and stations in 40 countries and regions around the world; the transportation categories cover 221 types of products in 16 categories, and the export volume of new three new products such as new energy vehicles and photovoltaic products has gradually increased. At the same time, we deepened cooperation with coastal ports. Beibu Gulf Port, Guangzhou Port, Yantian Port, and Yangpu Port successively set up inland ports in Huaihua. International shipping companies such as COSCO Shipping set up Huaihua container return points to facilitate foreign trade companies to pick up and return containers nearby, saving transportation time and reducing logistics costs.
