According to the Hanxi Train Depot of Wuhan Railway Bureau Group Co., Ltd., from January to June 2024, a total of 331 China-Europe Express trains (Wuhan) were launched, of which 206 were dispatched, with a year-on-year increase of more than 60%, demonstrating that the competitiveness of "Made in Hubei" in the European market continues to increase.

As of June 30, China-Europe Express (Wuhan) has 53 stable cross-border transport routes, radiating 40 countries and 116 cities in Eurasia. The rising figures demonstrate the vitality and potential of China-Europe Express, and the momentum of high-level opening up continues to rise.

In the first half of 2024, China-Europe Express (Wuhan) continued to improve transportation efficiency and launched the first full-timetable train in the central region, which is equivalent to the on-time operation of passenger trains for freight trains. At present, the one-way transportation time is about 13 days, which is about 30% shorter than that of ordinary trains. At the same time, the product structure is continuously optimized, and the first photovoltaic train from Wuhan to Tashkent, Uzbekistan is launched. The product structure has expanded from the "old three" such as clothing, furniture, and home appliances to the "new three" high-tech products such as new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products; the "circle of friends" is continuously expanded, and a new route to Sabane, Belarus is added; the scale of operation is continuously expanded, and the scheduled trains for the outbound journey have reached 7 trains per week, and "daily class" transportation has been realized.

The continuous operation of China-Europe trains has built a new platform for all-round interconnection and interoperability between the Eurasian continent. It has become the most effective trade channel and new international logistics public product for international economic and trade cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative, and has provided strong support for building an important node of the domestic circulation and a strategic link between the domestic and international circulations.
