On July 22, 2024, the Dengfeng Branch of the Ecological Environment Bureau of Zhengzhou, Henan Province, released the approval opinions on the environmental impact assessment document of the 45MW/133MWh energy storage power station project of Lianao Energy Technology Co., LTD. The announcement details the environmental impact assessment of the project and marks important progress in the environmental approval of the project.
The project is located in the factory of Zhengzhou Faxiang Electric Power Co., LTD., Gaocheng Town, Dengfeng City, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, with a total investment of 263 million yuan. The energy storage station size of the project energy storage system is 48.75MW/133.816MWh, including 20 PCS compartments, 19 of which have a capacity of 2.5MW and 1 of which has a capacity of 1.25MW. There are 39 sets of storage battery pods, of which 39 sets each have a capacity of 3.44MWh and 1 set has a capacity of 3.096MWh. Lithium iron phosphate battery is to be selected for storage battery.
The project is to build a new 110 kV substation with a main transformer capacity of 1×31.5MVA and outdoor layout. Construction of 110kV outlet line 1 back to Zhongyue 110kV substation, using the form of underground cable laying, the path length of about 60 meters. The underground cable paths are all located in the factory of Zhengzhou Faxiang Power Co., LTD.
