Recently, China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina) and Mongolia National Trade and Transport Group Co., Ltd. signed an EPC contract for the Rasent National Fuel Reserve Tank Farm project in Mongolia.

The Rasent National Fuel Reserve Tank Farm Project in Mongolia is located in Rasent City, Sugur Province. It mainly constructs 12 fuel oil storage tanks with a total capacity of 100000 cubic meters (including tank farms, stations, and train stations). This project is a key investment by NTT Corporation based on the construction needs of Mongolia, and has significant strategic importance for the layout of Mongolia's national oil storage system.

Fuel oil, as an important industrial raw material and energy source, is of great significance to the economic development of Mongolia. The implementation of this project will not only directly drive the development of related industrial chains, such as refining, petrochemicals, transportation, etc., but also promote the diversification of the economic structure. By enhancing fuel oil reserves, Mongolia can better support domestic industrial production and consumption demand, and promote more stable and sustainable economic development. Keywords: the Belt and Road news, the Belt and Road project, overseas project.

In the event of natural disasters, geopolitical conflicts, and other emergencies, fuel oil, as a key strategic material, the stability and adequacy of its supply are crucial for a country's emergency response capabilities. The construction of the Rasant National Fuel Reserve Tank Farm project in Mongolia will significantly improve the country's fuel oil supply capacity in response to emergencies, ensuring that the country can quickly mobilize resources at critical moments and effectively respond to various challenges.
