[China Energy Construction East China Institute signed a 1.2GW wind power project in Africa] Recently, CEEC successfully signed a contract for a major wind power project in Nouadhibou, Mauritania, marking a significant breakthrough in China's new energy market. The project involves the construction of a 1,200MW wind power facility near Port Etienne in Nouadhibou Bay province, with a planned total construction period of 36 months. The contract covers the full design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the wind power plant, and includes the construction of two 225kV booster stations and a transmission line of up to 50 km. The signing of this agreement not only demonstrates China's technological strength and international competitiveness in the field of new energy, but also injects new impetus into Mauritania's clean energy development.
