Recently, Ajman Mahall Makani Real Estate Development Company, a well-known real estate developer in the Emirate of Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates, officially announced the launch of the "Ajman Mahall Makani City - Sharjah Waterfront Project".

The project is located on the coastline of Al Hamriyah in the northern part of the Emirate of Sharjah, covering an area of more than 60 million square feet. The development includes residential, commercial, and tourism facilities, among others. The total investment of the project is expected to be 25 billion dirhams (approximately 6.8 billion US dollars).

Specifically, the project is planned to build 1,500 villas, several mid-rise and high-rise residential buildings, hotels, retail spaces, a university, multiple schools, theme parks, and other tourism and entertainment facilities.

In addition, the project will extend Sharjah's coastline by 36 kilometers and be equipped with the following facilities:

·A marina with 800 yacht berths;

·A theme park covering an area of 1.6 million square feet;

·A large shopping mall covering an area of 3 million square feet;

·Waterfront restaurants, cafes, and leisure and entertainment venues.

Moreover, 60% of the land in the project will be reserved for green spaces, beaches, and public areas, which is in line with Sharjah's sustainable development goals.
