On March 21, China Metallurgical Changtian International Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Metallurgical Changtian") signed a general contracting and management contract for the Sohar ore dressing plant in Oman, the supporting stockyard, long-distance slurry transportation, and tailings dry stacking projects with Shanxi Jinnan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinnan Iron and Steel Group"). This marks that the "national team" in the metallurgical iron-making front-end field and a leading private steel enterprise have joined hands to export China's advanced ore dressing technologies, equipment, and management concepts, creating a new model for international mining cooperation.

This project is a landmark project in China-Oman economic and trade cooperation and the first project to be implemented under the Middle East hub plan of Vale S.A. from Brazil. It will inject new growth points into Oman's green industrial ecological economy. The project is planned to process 18 million tons of iron ore annually and produce 12.6 million tons of ultra-high-quality iron concentrate powder per year. After completion, it will become a world-class large-scale demonstration base for the production of high-quality, green and environmentally friendly iron-bearing materials from Brazilian hematite, meeting the growing global demand for high-grade iron concentrate powder.  (This article is from the official website of Seetao.com, www.seetao.com.
