At the launching ceremony, Mawarid Turbine reached in-depth cooperation with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., Ltd. from China. The two sides signed agreements on technical licenses, joint research and development, technology transfer, and the supply of equipment for pilot wind farms, and will jointly carry out the design and research and development of the manufacturing system. Wu Lei, Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, said that this cooperation is a vivid practice of the friendly relations between China and Oman, which will accelerate the implementation of high-end wind power technologies in Oman and empower the upgrading of the local clean energy industry.
