After winning the 3.761 billion yuan LNG pipeline project in Abu Dhabi in January this year, China National Petroleum Corporation Engineering Co., Ltd. won its second super order in the Middle East.

On June 14, CNPC Engineering announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, China Petroleum Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., received a contract award letter from Total Energies for the EPSCC project of the Attawi Oilfield Gas Processing Plant in Iraq, which is to build a natural gas processing unit with a daily processing capacity of 320 million cubic feet (MMSCFD), with an estimated contract value of 1.601 billion US dollars, or about 11.538 billion yuan, and the planned construction period of the project to achieve temporary acceptance is 39 months.

TotalEnergies is an integrated energy company that produces and sells energy products including oil, biofuels, natural gas, green gas, renewable energy and electricity, with operations in more than 100 countries and regions with a global presence.

CNPC Engineering said that the project is currently in the stage of winning the bid and waiting to be signed, and there is still some uncertainty in the signing of relevant contracts. If the project is formally signed and successfully implemented, it will be conducive to the further consolidation and expansion of the company's onshore oil and gas field surface engineering business market in Iraq and even the Middle East, and will have a positive impact on the total operating income and profit in the next 4~5 years.(This article is from the official website of Seetao www.seetao.com.
