On July 24, 2025, China's energy storage industry welcomed an important bidding project. DeYa (Guanxian) Power Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Desai Battery Technology Co., Ltd., has officially released the bidding announcement for the first phase of the 500MW/1000MWh large-scale energy storage power station project EPC. The project is located in Guan County, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, marking substantial progress in Desai Battery's strategic layout in the field of new energy storage.

According to the bidding documents, the scale of the first phase of the bidding project is 300MW/600MWh, covering multiple key systems such as energy storage system and site area, 35kV collection line, 220kV substation, production and living area, access road and site. The winning bidder will be fully responsible for the entire process of the project, including survey and design, equipment and material procurement, construction and installation, system debugging, network testing, project handover, and personnel training.

It is worth noting that this project, as the first large-scale energy storage power station laid out by Desai Battery in Shandong Province, adopts the current mainstream lithium iron phosphate battery technology route. After the completion of the project, it will effectively enhance the peak shaving and frequency regulation capabilities of Shandong power grid, promote the consumption of renewable energy, and provide important support for the construction of a new type of power system.

The person in charge of Desai Battery stated that the implementation of this project will fully leverage the company's technological advantages in battery manufacturing and energy management, and the total investment of the project is expected to exceed 1 billion yuan. The project is scheduled to commence construction in the fourth quarter of 2025 and achieve grid connection and operation by the end of 2026.
