On July 25, 2025, Philippine Branch of China International Water&Electric Corp. (hereinafter referred to as "Sinohydro") formally received the notice of award from the Owner, and successfully signed the contract for Bid Section 2 and Bid Section 3 of Kamana Sewage Pipe Network Project in the northwest of Metro Manila, Luzon Island, Philippines.

The total planned construction period of the Project is 1080 days, and the main construction contents include the construction of launching shaft, receiving shaft, manhole, valve chamber and pump station. At the same time, the sewage pipeline is laid by the method of pipe jacking and open excavation. The total length of the pipeline of Lot 2 is about 21km, and that of Lot 3 is about 14km. In addition, pavement repair, supply and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment, power system access and other works will be carried out for the Project.

The Kamana sewage pipe network project won this bid is the largest sewage pipe network project undertaken by Sinohydro in Philippines market. The completion of the Project will greatly improve the water resource recycling efficiency of Metro Manila, significantly improve the local water environment quality, enhance the urban flood control and drainage capacity, and effectively improve the public health level, providing important support for building a more livable and sustainable modern city in the Philippines.
