On July 28, 2025, Tianhao Hongli (Shenzhou City) Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. announced the candidate for the EPC general contracting project of its 300 MW/1200 MWh shared energy storage power station investment and construction. The project is located in Shenzhou City, Hengshui City, Hebei Province, and the construction funds are fully self raised by the enterprise.

After evaluation by the bid evaluation committee, three consortium members have been determined as the winning bidder candidates:

The first winning bidder is a consortium formed by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. and Hebei Kunneng Electric Power Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd;

The second candidate for the bid is a consortium composed of Shandong Taiheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. and Hebei Zhuneng Engineering Technology Co., Ltd;

The third candidate is a consortium formed by Dinggu Jian'an Group Co., Ltd. and Hebei Energy Engineering Design Co., Ltd.

The project plans to build a 300 MW/1200 MWh energy storage power station, which will significantly enhance the peak shaving capacity of the power grid in southern Hebei, effectively promote the consumption of renewable energy, and provide important support for the construction of a new power system.
