On July 30, 2025, Tianhe Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in China's energy storage industry, officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Stiemo, a well-known EPC service provider in Eastern Europe. According to the agreement, both parties will jointly deploy gigawatt hour level energy storage systems in Eastern Europe within the next 2-3 years. The first batch of three energy storage projects will have a total installed capacity of 90MW/180MWh, and are scheduled to be delivered in December 2025 and put into commercial operation in mid-2026.

In this cooperation, Tianhe Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. will provide the latest developed Elementa Diamond 2 energy storage system overall solution, including battery system, energy storage converter, and grid integration solution. This solution has technical advantages such as flexible deployment and rapid response, making it particularly suitable for improving the stability of the power grid and meeting the demand for renewable energy consumption in Eastern Europe.

Gabriele Buccini, Business Head of Tianhe Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. in Europe, said, "Eastern Europe is becoming an emerging hotspot for large-scale energy storage markets. We are pleased to establish a long-term strategic partnership with Stiemo to jointly promote the clean energy transformation in the Baltic region and contribute to achieving the 2030 climate goals. "

Market data shows that as of the end of 2024, Tianhe Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd.'s cumulative shipment of battery compartments and systems in the European market has exceeded 2GWh, and the global total shipment has exceeded 10GWh. This cooperation marks the official launch of the company's GWh level strategic layout in the Eastern European market.

According to the latest research report from TrendForce Consulting, it is predicted that the newly installed energy storage capacity in Europe is expected to reach 26GWh by 2025, with large-scale energy storage projects accounting for about 60%, a year-on-year increase of 49%. This market trend provides important development opportunities for Chinese energy storage companies such as Tianhe Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd.

Industry experts have analyzed that as the proportion of renewable energy generation continues to increase in various European countries, the demand for flexibility and stability in the power grid continues to rise. Coupled with the gradual improvement of market-oriented profit mechanisms, large-scale energy storage projects are entering a period of rapid development. The strategic cooperation between Tianhe Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. and Stiemo not only reflects the technological strength of Chinese energy storage enterprises, but also demonstrates the new changes in the global energy storage industry landscape.

Both parties plan to deploy energy storage capacity at the level of several GWh in the next 3-5 years, which will significantly promote the large-scale development of the energy storage market in Eastern Europe. The successful implementation of this cooperation will provide important reference cases for global energy transformation and energy storage industry development, and has positive significance for promoting cooperation in the field of new energy between China and Europe.
