Ganfeng Lithium announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Ganfeng International has reached an agreement with Swiss Lithium Argentina AG (LAR) to jointly develop lithium resources in the Pozuelos Pastos Grandes Salt Lake Basin in Argentina. After the transaction is completed, Ganfeng International will hold a 67% controlling stake and provide financial support of no more than 130 million US dollars to LAR. The project plans to adopt direct lithium extraction technology and is expected to have a supply capacity of no less than 600000 tons of LCE per year by 2030.

While strengthening the upstream resource layout, Ganfeng Lithium continues to extend downstream energy storage and lithium battery fields. In August 2025, the company's investment of 1.5 billion yuan in Jiangxi New Battery Research Institute and Pack Integration Project has been put into operation, with a monthly output value of over 100 million yuan in just over half a month; The Nanchang lithium battery production base project is also actively advancing, with a planned annual production capacity of 10 GWh of new energy storage batteries and 400000 units of consumer batteries.

In addition, its controlling subsidiary Shenzhen Yichu has signed contracts for 4.75GW/15.3GWh energy storage power station projects, with a total investment scale of over 25 billion yuan. In the second half of 2025, it aims to sign contracts for 30GWh, start construction for 20GWh, and connect to the grid for 10GWh, comprehensively accelerating the landing of energy storage business.

By integrating high-quality overseas resources and deepening the construction of the entire lithium battery industry chain, Ganfeng Lithium is gradually building its overall capabilities from lithium raw materials to energy storage systems, providing important support for China's lithium battery industry to participate in global energy cooperation.
