Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Da Du River Eagle Rock First level Hydropower Station was grandly held on the banks of the Da Du River in Shimian County. This milestone event marks the official entry of the main construction of the project into the comprehensive promotion stage, injecting strong impetus into regional energy development.

The Eagle Rock First level Hydropower Station is located in Shimian County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. As a major national clean energy project, it holds a pivotal strategic position. It has a total installed capacity of 300000 kilowatts, an average annual power generation of about 1.37 billion kilowatt hours over the years, a total investment of 4.544 billion yuan, and a construction period of 60 months. After completion, it will become the backbone power supply point of Sichuan power grid, providing solid guarantee for regional power supply.

The power station was carefully planned, demonstrated, and fully surveyed and designed by China Electric Power Construction Chengdu Institute, using the largest single unit capacity bulb tubular unit in Asia independently developed by China. This innovative measure has achieved a major breakthrough in energy equipment technology, demonstrating China's independent research and development capabilities in the energy field, and has profound strategic significance for enhancing the country's ability to independently guarantee energy.

From the perspective of optimizing the energy structure, the Eagle Rock first level hydropower station has significant advantages.
