On the morning of September 29, 2025 local time in Sweden, the Rosersberg 4MWh energy storage project, jointly invested by China Gas, Linyang Energy, and Suntrade, officially started construction.

The CEO and management of Suntrade, Yuan Hairong, General Manager of Linyang Energy's Photovoltaic Storage Division, Cao Yang, Deputy General Manager of the European Region, and relevant leaders of Linyang Energy Storage jointly attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

The penetration rate of renewable energy in the Nordic region ranks among the top in the world, and the electricity market is mature with significant price fluctuations, making the demand for energy storage systems urgent. This project is the first grid side energy storage demonstration project of Linyang Energy in Northern Europe, using the company's 4MWh standard DC cabin, which has advantages such as high safety, high reliability, intelligence, low noise, low power consumption, and easy operation and maintenance. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to help optimize the regional energy structure and promote the coordinated development of low-carbon transformation and ecological protection.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Yuan Hairong, General Manager of Linyang Energy's Photovoltaic Storage Division, stated that the start of the Rosersberg project is an important starting point for Linyang Energy's energy storage business to enter Northern Europe. Linyang Energy will fully leverage its long-term accumulated project practical experience, core technological advantages, and global strategic resources to continuously provide high safety, high reliability, and high-yield smart solar storage products and system solutions, helping Europe achieve its energy transformation and zero carbon goals.

Suntrade CEO Daniel expressed a positive attitude towards project advancement and future cooperation. He emphasized that Suntrade will make every effort to coordinate resource integration and efficient collaboration with partners, strictly ensuring the smooth completion and production of the project as planned; At the same time, the company will actively explore more opportunities for the development of photovoltaic storage projects in the European market, further deepen strategic partnerships with Linyang Energy and China National Energy Corporation, and jointly explore new spaces for cooperation in the energy field.

Li Jun, General Manager of Zhongran Hongming Electric Power Technology Group, sent remote blessings and expressed confidence in the efficient delivery of the project with the joint efforts and support of partners. Zhongran Group will fully collaborate with value chain partners and actively participate in the delivery peak season in Northern Europe after successfully completing the "peak summer" task of domestic energy storage projects. After the Rosersberg demonstration project, the Nordic scale energy storage project cluster will be the focus of the next phase.

The smooth commencement of the Rosersberg project is another important milestone for Linyang Energy to implement its "going global" strategy and promote high-quality global development.
