Recently, Paineng Technology and Xupai Power have reached an important strategic cooperation. According to the agreement, Paineng Technology will supply Xupai Power with battery products of over 1GWh. Both parties will fully leverage their respective advantages in battery technology and market applications, jointly promote the commercial application of products in multiple fields such as sodium battery start stop and lithium battery lightweight power, and further build a more resilient sustainable ecological chain.

As a globally renowned energy storage system supplier, Paineng Technology has been operating in over 90 countries and regions since its establishment in 2009, delivering over 2 million sets of energy storage systems. The performance report for the first half of 2025 shows that the company's total revenue reached 1.149 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 33.75%; The battery shipment volume was 1328MWh, a year-on-year increase of 132.57%, of which about 60% was exported overseas and 40% was supplied to the domestic market.

In terms of production capacity layout, Paineng Technology announced on September 29th that it has made significant adjustments to the investment projects raised by the funds. Among them, the production time of the 10GWh lithium battery R&D and manufacturing base project has been extended from the original plan of April 2026 to December 2026, and the planned fundraising has been adjusted from 3 billion yuan to 2.4 billion yuan.

In this adjustment, the reduced funds of 600 million yuan will be used to build new 2GWh energy storage batteries and integrated projects. The total investment of this project is 1 billion yuan, of which 600 million yuan is planned to be raised and 400 million yuan is planned to be invested from self owned funds. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in March 2028. The company stated that this new 2GWh battery cell production line will be more suitable for flexible production requirements and can better meet the production needs of small batch orders and experimental orders.

Paineng Technology is also actively expanding its sodium ion battery business. Currently, it has developed two major system products, NFS (sodium iron sulfate) and NFPP (composite sodium iron phosphate), and achieved mass market application. The company stated that this capacity structure adjustment will help improve its ability to undertake diversified orders, while meeting the rapidly growing demand of the energy storage market, further enhancing the company's market competitiveness, and laying a solid foundation for future sustainable development.
