The first domestic full range methanol power plant has completed emission certification and batch signing

Recently, Weichai's methanol ship power has received frequent good news, with multiple models obtaining CCS certification from China Classification Society and winning bulk customer signings, guarding green waters and mountains, and Weichai taking the lead.

WP13 methanol ship power has completed 2500 hours of degradation test and obtained type approval certificate and emission certificate. WH17 methanol ship power has obtained the first China II emission certificate in China, WH20 methanol ship power has obtained the first diesel micro injection ignition in China, and single methanol fuel engine type approval certificate and emission certificate.

Weichai's full range of methanol ship power covers a power range of 248-1200kW, with the advantages of high efficiency, low carbon, and energy saving. It can be adapted to various ships such as engineering ships, cargo ships, roll on/roll off ships, and liquefaction ships, providing customers with system integration solutions.

The country's first "pure methanol power generation+electric propulsion" transport ship was launched, powered by Weichai!

Recently, two Weichai 550kW 6WH17 pure methanol generator sets were installed in Yichang, Hubei. The first "pure methanol power generation+electric propulsion" ship in China was launched, and the 3000 ton green phosphate ore transport ship "Three Gorges Green Boat 01" was successfully launched, marking a substantial step in the green transformation of Yangtze River shipping.

This ship is one of the first two 3000 ton demonstration ships for green transportation of phosphate ore across dams in Yichang City. Both ships are equipped with Weichai 6WH17 pure methanol generator sets, with a total length of 99 meters, a width of 16.3 meters, and a depth of 4.8 meters.

The Weichai 6WH17 methanol generator set is designed with methanol specific components to solve the problem of methanol corrosion in the industry. When used in conjunction with Weichai methanol specific engine oil, it has the same service life as diesel engines during major repairs. Using methanol fuel can significantly reduce nitrogen oxide emissions, achieve near zero particulate matter emissions, and do not produce sulfur oxides. Each ship's entire life cycle will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 4200 tons.

In terms of economic energy consumption, Weichai adopts its own methanol control system, high-energy spark plug ignition, and lean combustion technology route, which has better fuel economy. Compared with traditional diesel ships, customers can save more than 30% on fuel costs, achieving a comprehensive advantage of green environmental protection and efficient operation.
