In today's era where the dual carbon goals lead to profound changes in the energy system, how to efficiently consume clean electricity and solve the problem of grid peak regulation has become the core issue of regional energy transformation. Recently, Jujinshi Energy Storage Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. and Jiamusi Natural Resources and Planning Bureau officially signed an investment agreement to jointly launch a demonstration project of a grid side shared energy storage power station with a total investment of 2 billion yuan and a total scale of up to 1.6GWh. This major initiative not only injects strong momentum into Jiamusi's energy infrastructure, but also provides valuable practical samples for the development of "new energy+energy storage" in Northeast China and even the whole country through its innovative sharing model.

Cracking the bottleneck of transformation, innovative models leading development

This project is not simply the construction of energy storage facilities, its core value lies in the innovative business model of sharing. It aims to systematically address the dual challenges faced by Jiamusi and surrounding areas, including the volatility of new energy generation and the insufficient peak shaving capacity of the power grid. By concentrating the construction of large-scale independent energy storage power stations, the project will act like a stable and efficient "green power bank", absorbing excess electricity during wind and photovoltaic power generation, and smoothly releasing electricity during peak electricity consumption, effectively unlocking more new energy installation space and improving the overall utilization efficiency of clean energy in the region. This model breaks the limitations of traditional energy storage projects being self built and self used, achieving optimized allocation of resources on a larger scale, and striving to create a new energy+energy storage benchmark at the provincial and even national levels.

Scientific planning and layout to create a comprehensive energy storage network

According to the plan, the project will adopt a distributed layout strategy and build four energy storage power stations in the suburbs of Jiamusi City, Dongfeng District, Huachuan County, and Fujin City. Each single station has a scale of 200MW/400MWh. This evenly distributed and multi-point supported architecture is like building a distributed stabilizer and power pool for regional power grids. It can not only effectively alleviate the congestion pressure of local power grids, but also enhance the stability and flexibility of the entire network operation. This scientific layout ensures the efficient utilization of energy storage resources and the synergistic efficiency of power grid safety.

Double harvest of economic and social benefits

The implementation of the project implies significant economic and social benefits. According to estimates, after the project is completed and put into operation, the annual discharge revenue is expected to reach 520 million yuan, contributing about 60 million yuan in tax revenue to local finance every year, becoming a new growth point for the regional economy. At the same time, during the construction and operation period, the project will effectively drive the development of related industrial chains such as local equipment manufacturing, construction and installation, and operation and maintenance services, creating a large number of job opportunities and providing sustained momentum for promoting local employment and high-quality regional economic development.

Building a low-carbon future and empowering energy system upgrades

Looking ahead to the future, this 1.6GWh shared energy storage power station will be a key puzzle in building a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient modern energy system in Jiamusi City. It is not only the technological cornerstone for ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power grid, but also the catalyst for accelerating the green transformation of local energy structure. The successful practice of the project will verify the feasibility of the shared energy storage business model, provide valuable experience that can be replicated and promoted for similar regions, and have important demonstration significance for the construction of China's new power system.
