At the "Power Up Together" Global Charging Summit to be held in Amsterdam in 2025, Chinese clean energy company Sunac Power announced the world's first 3.5MW supercharging system, ChargeStack 1000, that meets European standards. This breakthrough product is mainly aimed at high-power application scenarios such as highway service areas, heavy truck logistics hubs, and public charging stations, aiming to solve the long-term power bottleneck and deployment efficiency problems faced by the industry, marking a new stage of development for high-power charging technology.
ChargeStack 1000 adopts an innovative "1+X" scalable architecture design, allowing operators to achieve smooth expansion from 1MW to 3.5MW through flexible power cabinet modules according to actual needs. The system is fully compatible with MCS (1500A) and CCS2 (500A oil cooled, which can be upgraded to 800A) standards, and can meet the charging needs of various commercial vehicles. Its unique decoupled architecture supports future MCS or V2G upgrades, reducing upgrade costs by up to 70% without the need for hardware replacement.
In terms of core technology, the system is equipped with SiC modules independently developed by Sunac Power, with an efficiency of up to 97%, significantly reducing energy loss. By utilizing full matrix power allocation technology, the system can increase charging flux by 33% while ensuring a 98.5% system availability, enabling stable operation even under variable climate conditions in Europe. The system supports 1500A high current fast charging, which can replenish about 600kWh of electricity for heavy trucks within 30 minutes, perfectly meeting the efficient operation needs of commercial vehicles.

More importantly, ChargeStack 1000 is not only a charging device, but also an integrated solution that integrates photovoltaics, energy storage, and intelligent charging management. The system achieves peak shaving and valley filling, demand response, and virtual power plant participation through intelligent energy management, which can increase the operator's profitability by up to 60%. The integrated debugging design improves construction efficiency by 50%, and the 2-4 week rapid deployment cycle significantly enhances investment return efficiency.
During the summit, more than 150 partners from Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region visited Sunshine Power's heavy-duty truck storage and charging integration project at Schiphol Airport. The project is equipped with a total charging power of 900kW, which can support 8 heavy trucks to quickly replenish energy at the same time. It is currently the largest heavy truck logistics charging station in the Netherlands, fully verifying the excellent performance of ChargeStack 1000 in practical applications.
Gu Yilei, Vice Chairman of Sunac Power, stated that electric vehicle charging facilities are an important extension of the company's clean energy system, and their competitiveness comes from their deep technological accumulation in the fields of photovoltaics and energy storage. At present, the company has over 10000 patent applications, more than 7000 R&D engineers, and has more than 520 service outlets and a 24/7 after-sales system worldwide, providing reliable protection for the entire product lifecycle.
