On October 28th, the groundbreaking event for the CORNEX new energy Xiangyang 70GWh lithium battery project was held in Xiangyang City. The Xiangyang lithium battery project is an important component of CORNEX's strategic layout. The project relies on Xiangyang's unique geographical advantages and industrial foundation to build a 70GWh modern lithium battery production base that integrates advanced manufacturing, technology research and development, and industrial synergy. The largest single factory has an effective production capacity of over 30GWh. The project focuses on the two core areas of energy storage and power, producing a new generation of lithium batteries, covering 588Ah-1000Ah large energy storage batteries and 4-6C Everest series super fast charging power batteries, with leading advantages such as large capacity, high energy efficiency, long cycle, and high rate. After the completion of the project, it will create more than 5000 job opportunities, which is of great significance for optimizing the industrial structure of Xiangyang, building a new energy industry cluster, and promoting high-quality regional economic development.

Currently, CORNEX has established three major lithium battery production bases in Xiaogan, Wuhan, and Yichang, with an annual effective production capacity exceeding 110GWh. With the start of construction of CORNEX in Xiangyang, CORNEX will officially form a three-dimensional strategic pattern of "one global headquarters, two R&D centers, and four major production bases". The under construction capacity will exceed 400GWh, and the total planned capacity will exceed 500GWh, greatly enhancing the company's R&D synergy and capacity guarantee capabilities, achieving resource optimization and rapid market response, further consolidating CORNEX's leading position in the global new energy industry, and providing strong support for China's energy structure transformation and sustainable development.
