On November 3, 2025, Tianjin DJI Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tianjin Energy Group, officially issued a bidding announcement to launch the EPC general contracting project for the Houjiaying Independent Shared Energy Storage Power Station in Jizhou District. This major energy storage infrastructure construction project will adopt advanced lithium iron phosphate battery technology, with all equipment arranged in outdoor prefabricated cabins and a supporting 110kV booster station to provide stable and reliable energy storage services for the regional power grid.

The project is located in Yurun Village, Houjiaying Town, Jizhou District, Tianjin, with a total area of approximately 44 acres and a planned construction period of 122 days. The project will be constructed in two phases, with the first phase having a construction scale of 150MW/300MWh and the second phase planned to expand to 330MW/660MWh. After completion, it will be connected to the Tianjin power grid through the Yurun 220kV substation located 0.6 kilometers away. The power station design has the ability to automatically receive grid dispatch instructions, enabling intelligent operation and efficient energy management.

As an independent shared energy storage power station, this project will provide multiple services such as peak shaving, frequency regulation, and backup capacity for Tianjin power grid through market-oriented operation mode, significantly improving the stability of regional power grid and the ability to absorb renewable energy. This innovative operating model not only optimizes the allocation of power resources, but also provides important reference for the commercial operation of subsequent energy storage projects.

In terms of bidding requirements, bidders must possess relevant design and construction qualifications in the power industry, with an average annual operating income of no less than 2 billion yuan in the past three years. The project team must be equipped with professional and technical personnel with corresponding professional qualifications.
