Recently, Guangdong Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Guangdong Yuantian Engineering Co., Ltd., in conjunction with Guangdong Zhensen Electric Power Design and Research Co., Ltd., has successfully signed an EPC contract for the design and construction of the Shenzhen Shantou Special Cooperation Zone Lanjun Energy Storage Power Station project with Shenzhen Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone Lanjun Energy Storage Co., Ltd. The total investment of this project reaches 1.888 billion yuan, with an energy storage scale of 300MW/1200MWh and a contract period of only 120 calendar days. It is not only a major breakthrough for Guangdong Construction Engineering in the field of new energy storage, but also injects strong momentum into the construction of a new power system in the Greater Bay Area.

As a key energy infrastructure project in the Shenzhen Shantou Special Cooperation Zone, the core construction content of the project includes four major sections: energy storage system, energy storage booster station, transmission line, and contralateral expansion interval. Among them, Guangdong Yuantian, the organizer of the consortium, will undertake an engineering task of 1.876 billion yuan, accounting for 99.36% of the total contract amount, and be responsible for the majority of the project's design and construction work. The project adopts an open bidding pricing model, and the settlement method is monthly measurement payment, which not only ensures the standardization of engineering construction, but also provides financial support for the efficient promotion of the project. The tight schedule requirement of 120 days will fully test the technical integration ability and efficient construction management level of the construction team, demonstrating the "Shenzhen speed" in the field of new energy infrastructure.

From the perspective of enterprise development and industry value, the implementation of this project will significantly enhance Guangdong Construction Engineering's technological accumulation and market competitiveness in the fields of electrochemical energy storage system integration and large-scale energy storage power station construction, and have a positive impact on the company's operating performance in 2025. At the regional strategic level, the completion of the project will significantly enhance the power peak and frequency regulation capabilities of the Shenzhen Shantou Special Cooperation Zone, alleviate the pressure of regional new energy consumption, and provide stable and reliable energy security for local industrial development and residents' lives. At the same time, as a demonstration project for energy storage in the Greater Bay Area, the project will provide replicable EPC general contracting experience for similar projects, promoting the standardization and scale development of the regional energy storage industry.
