On November 26th, Cangyu Space held a signing ceremony for the construction project of Cangyu 01 satellite ground operation and control system in Beijing. Leaders and experts from the Investment Promotion Bureau of Luohu District, Shenzhen, Tengye Venture Capital and Minyin International, shareholders of Cangyu Aerospace, China Electronics Technology Network Communication Research Institute (the 54th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation), the 39th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, Xi'an Huanyu, Zhonglian Zhitong, Zhongbi Bizhi and other units attended the event.

Under the witness of all parties, Shen Shijun, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cangyu Aerospace in Shenzhen, signed a project cooperation agreement with five partners. This marks the official entry of the ground operation and control system of Cangyu 01 into the development and construction stage.  

Previously, the contract for the development of the Cangyu 01 satellite and its supporting carrier rocket was officially signed in Shenzhen in June 2025. At present, the major systems of satellite engineering have entered the comprehensive construction stage, and the satellite is planned to be launched from the factory at the end of 2026. At that time, the satellite will become the world's first commercial high orbit relay satellite, positioned above the equator at 144.6 degrees east longitude, with a single satellite coverage rate of up to 60% for low orbit spacecraft below 2000km. This satellite will provide safe and reliable space-based measurement, control, and data relay services for China's commercial satellites, rockets, and long endurance unmanned aerial vehicles, contributing significantly to the high-quality and safe development of China's commercial aerospace industry.Editor/Bian Wenjun
