Recently, the Jinlongyu New Energy Solid State Battery Materials Project with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan has entered a critical construction stage. The project plans to construct a lithium battery coating separator production line with an annual output of 1550 tons, marking the company's deep layout in the field of key battery materials.
High end separators strengthen the safety foundation of solid-state batteries
The new energy solid-state battery material project invested and constructed by Jinlongyu New Energy (Huidong) Co., Ltd. in Huizhou New Materials Industrial Park covers four key materials in terms of production capacity. In addition to producing 3000 tons of solid electrolytes and 10000 tons of manganese iron phosphate lithium cathode materials annually, the key plan of producing 1550 tons of lithium-ion battery coated separators annually highlights the high importance that enterprises attach to the core safety components of batteries.
Coated membrane is a special material coated on traditional base film, which can significantly improve the heat resistance, mechanical strength, and electrolyte wettability of the membrane. It is a key component for preventing battery short circuits, improving cycle life, and enhancing safety performance. The synergistic effect of coated separators and solid electrolytes is crucial in high-performance batteries, especially in semi-solid and all solid state batteries.

Project construction accelerates and gains market validation
The project has made rapid progress since its launch in early 2025. The project was established on April 2nd and officially started construction on May 7th. It is worth noting that during the construction of the factory, the terminal products of its parent company, Jinlongyu New Energy (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., have received market orders.
On May 20th, Shenzhen Jinlongyu signed a purchase order with a customer for 100000 high-energy density solid-state batteries for drones. On November 20th, Jinlongyu Group Co., Ltd. revealed on the investor interaction platform that its semi-solid series batteries have passed customer testing and obtained orders, and key materials have also been sampled and tested by multiple customers. Creating a comprehensive solution for material closed-loop layout
From the production capacity planning, it can be seen that Jinlongyu aims to build a one-stop solution capability from key materials to battery cell products. The annual production of 1550 tons of coated membranes not only meets the demand for self-produced battery cells, but also complements the solid electrolyte business with an annual production of 3000 tons (90% of which are sold externally).
The planned construction period for this project is 12 months, not exceeding three years. With the accelerated construction of the new factory in Huizhou New Materials Industrial Park, Jinlongyu is expected to become an important competitor in the field of solid-state battery materials in China.
