On December 3, 2025, Ambassador to Guinea Sun Yong attended the ceremony where the Chinese government provided food aid to Guinea through the World Food Programme. Minister of Cooperation Nabe and the representative of the World Food Programme in Guinea, Usain Gumuremi, attended the meeting.

Ambassador Sun stated that China's cooperation with the World Food Programme to provide the necessary food aid to Guinea is a vivid manifestation of the profound friendship between China and Guinea, and an important practice to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state.
