On February 10, Ambassador Yao Wen met with Eric Salheim, former Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations and Executive Director of UNEP, and Vice President of the International Alliance for Green Development of the "the Belt and Road" in the Embassy.

Ambassador Yao appreciated Egypt's active role in Bangladesh and expressed that China has always been committed to developing good neighborly and friendly cooperation with all the people of Bangladesh. He is willing to provide important impetus for the sustainable development of Bangladesh and regional prosperity and stability, and promote China Bangladesh relations to a new level.
