China Overseas South Pacific Company and the Papua New Guinea Ministry of Engineering have officially signed a contract for the design, procurement, and construction of the Magi Highway project at the Papua New Guinea Governor General's Office in Port Moresby.

The Magi Highway has a total length of 242 kilometers and is a key section of the southern coastal highway planned by the Papua New Guinea government to connect with Papua New Guinea. It is also the largest single project in the country's infrastructure construction field so far. The signing of this important project marks a new level of cooperation in the construction of new infrastructure between China and Pakistan.
