8 major projects have resumed work comprehensively

With the warming weather, the 8 key highway projects invested and constructed by Xinjiang Transportation Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. have achieved full and comprehensive resumption of work and production. These 8 projects include the G30 Lianhuo Expressway Xingxingxia Hami Expansion Project, G30 Lianhuo Expressway Hami Tuyugou Expansion Project, G218 Nalati Baluntai Highway, 103 Jinan Overpass Aiweigou Alehui Highway, S24 Shanshan Kumish Expressway, S12 Gaochang (Turpan) - Toksun Baluntai Highway, S238 Xialaoba Hongshankou Expansion Project, and G3012 Tuhe Expressway Gangou Yushugou Section Safety Resilience Improvement Project.

Whether it's the G30 renovation and expansion project that crosses the desert or the G218 Naba project that connects the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains, the busy figures of builders can be seen everywhere. They are striving with the attitude of "decisive battle at the beginning and sprint at the beginning", making every effort to catch up with the schedule, surpass the progress, and ensure the high-quality promotion of the project.

Three projects are rushing to open for traffic

In this comprehensive resumption of work and production project, the targets of completion and opening to traffic by June 30th have been set for the 103 Ji Ai A Highway, G30 Star Ha, and Ha Tu projects. As a key node of the transportation artery in the core area of the National Silk Road Economic Belt, the G30 Xingha and Hatu renovation and expansion projects have entered the final sprint stage of asphalt pavement and ancillary facilities.

The G30 Lianhuo Expressway renovation and expansion project has a total length of 537 kilometers from Xingxingxia to Tuyugou, expanding the existing four lanes to eight lanes in both directions. At present, the upper layer of the asphalt on the left side of the road surface has been completed, and there are still 30 kilometers of upper layer on the right side, which is expected to be completed in one month. After opening to traffic, the capacity for entering and exiting Xinjiang will increase exponentially, completely solving the problem of traffic congestion during holidays.

At the same time, the 103 Ji Ai A Highway project is also closely focused on its opening target and is making every effort to advance the remaining construction work. The highway has a total length of 125.236 kilometers and is an important component of the high-level road network in the Urumqi metropolitan area. After completion, it will directly connect Urumqi County and Toksun County, becoming a new channel for coal transportation, tourism integration, and rural revitalization.

To ensure the efficient, safe, and orderly resumption of work for the 8 projects, Xinjiang Communications Investment Group has deployed ahead of schedule and made efforts to overcome practical difficulties such as the unpredictable spring climate in Xinjiang, some projects located in mountainous areas, and complex construction conditions. A "one project, one plan" resumption guarantee mechanism has been formulated to comprehensively and meticulously prepare for the resumption of work, clearing obstacles for the smooth progress of the projects.

Specific measures include: consolidating responsibilities, refining milestones, organizing special deployment meetings for resumption of work and production in advance by the company, project companies, and project execution agencies, refining annual construction milestones, progress plans, and division of responsibilities; Personnel are in place, equipment is ready, and the special work of personnel returning to work is carried out simultaneously to ensure that all construction personnel, technical personnel, and management personnel of each project are on duty, and to fully complete the maintenance and commissioning of construction equipment, as well as the reserve and supply of building materials and supplies; Safety first, quality first. Before resuming work, a special safety hazard investigation team will be organized to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the construction sites, temporary facilities, electrical equipment, fire protection systems, and high-risk work areas of each project. A problem ledger will be established, and a closed loop of rectification will be implemented within a specified period of time to firmly uphold the safety bottom line.
