On the afternoon of March 18th, President Xijinping met with Turkmenistan's national leader and Chairman of the People's Council, Berdymukhamedov, who was on a friendly visit to China, at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.

The implementation of the planning outline will lay a solid foundation for China to basically achieve socialist modernization, and will also benefit countries around the world. Since its independence 35 years ago, Turkmenistan has embarked on an independent and self reliant development path that is in line with its own national conditions. Berdymukhamedov expressed his pleasure in visiting the great China and congratulated the successful holding of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and made significant decisions and arrangements for the development of various undertakings. China is good, the world will be better.   Cooperation between China and Turkey has become an important positive factor in the economic and social development of both countries, which is in line with the long-term interests of the two peoples.
