The transportation capacity of Tongjiang Bridge has tripled

As an important control project of the China Europe Railway East Passage, the Tongjiang Grand Bridge officially resumed work on March 20th. The bridge has a total length of 10435 meters and is the longest newly-built bridge in the East China Railway Express Port section. Currently, more than half of the beam erection construction has been completed. With the simultaneous implementation of the Jiatong Railway expansion and renovation project, the transportation capacity of the China Europe East Railway Express will be significantly increased by three times in the future, completely breaking through the bottleneck of port logistics transportation. In the first two months of this year, the China Europe East Railway Express operated a total of 1034 trains and shipped 105000 TEUs of goods, an increase of 48.4% and 43.2% respectively year-on-year, highlighting the value of the channel.

China Laos Railway Freight Connect 19 Countries

The latest operation data disclosed by the China Laos Railway on the same day was re recorded: the cumulative cross-border freight volume successfully exceeded 18 million tons, the transport categories expanded from the initial dozens to more than 3800, and the cargo coverage covered 19 countries and regions. The Lancang Mekong Express cross-border freight trains operate on a regular daily basis, reducing the transportation time for goods from Kunming to Vientiane to within 3 days. In the first quarter of this year, the cross-border freight volume of China Laos railway increased by 45% year on year, becoming the core link to promote China Laos production capacity cooperation and deepen ASEAN trade.
