In May 2026, cross-border logistics between China and Russia will enter the traditional peak season. According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, the bilateral trade volume between China and Russia has reached 87 billion US dollars in the first four months of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%, and is expected to exceed 260 billion US dollars for the whole year. Intelligent inspection landing

This system upgrade hits a long-term pain point in the industry. In the past, during the peak shipment period in May, there were frequent congestion and congestion at ports, with trucks queuing for several hours. After the launch of the new version of the intelligent inspection system, the average clearance time for cross-border vehicle cargo between China and Russia has been reduced by more than 40%. The inspection process for conventional categories such as general cargo, building materials, daily necessities, and machinery and equipment has been greatly simplified, and non prohibited and compliant goods have achieved paperless and rapid declaration and release.

At the same time, the three major ports have added large-scale freight distribution and warehousing parks, effectively alleviating the temporary storage and turnover pressure of transit goods. At present, the daily throughput of Manzhouli Port has recovered to the peak level of peak season, and the traffic efficiency of Heihe and Suifenhe ports has been improved synchronously, with a significant improvement in overall transit efficiency.
