Recently, Anhui Jingshui Ecological Development Co., Ltd. simultaneously released two comparative procurement announcements for the geological survey and planning site selection report preparation of the Anhui Jingde Pumped Storage Power Station project, marking the official entry of this planned installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts and equipped with four 300000 kilowatt units into a key preliminary stage of work, laying a solid foundation for inclusion in the national pumped storage medium - and long-term development plan and promoting the early landing of the project.

The site selection of pumped storage power stations is directly related to the technical feasibility and economic viability of the project. The project site selection strictly follows the national "Technical Management Regulations for Site Selection Planning of Pumped Storage Power Stations", with a focus on geological stability, water resource endowment, and grid access conditions. The preliminary site selection is located in the border area between Caijiaqiao Town and Banshu Town in Jingde County. The mountain height difference in this area is significant, with a maximum drop of over 600 meters, and there are no major geological hazards in the surrounding area, providing natural conditions for the construction of a high head pumped storage power station expected to be over 600 meters.
