Since June 2020, the China Communications Group has brought nine major projects into the bag, winning the bid of 106.26 billion yuan.

PPP project of infrastructure project in the starting area of Wuhan Changjiang New City

On July 1, the consortium participated by the Second Aviation Administration, China's urban and rural areas, and Beijing Bishuiyuan Company won the bid for the PPP project of infrastructure projects in the starting area of Wuhan Changjiang New City. The total investment of the project is about 8 billion yuan, of which the construction and installation cost is about 6.1 billion yuan. The project adopts the "PPP+BOT+feasibility gap subsidy" model. The main construction contents include roads, comprehensive pipe corridors, drainage, tunnels, underground reclaimed water plants, and above-ground urban parks. It specifically includes three sub-items: New District Avenue Construction Period 2 The operation period is 15 years; the construction period of the Chenjiaji Avenue project is 3 years and the operation period is 15 years; the construction period of the Chenjiaji Renewable Water Plant project is 2 years and the operation period is 20 years. The construction of the new city of the Yangtze River is an important measure for Wuhan to build a display area for urban development achievements and a model for future cities. After the infrastructure project in the starting area is completed, the road network of the Wuhan Yangtze River New City Demonstration Area will be continuously improved, the connection between the Yangtze River New City and the key channels of the central city will be strengthened, the urban landscape effect of the new city will be improved, and a virtuous cycle of water ecology will be realized.

Guangdong Shantou Eastern City Economic Belt Municipal Infrastructure Construction Project

The consortium composed of CCCC and the Southwest Municipal Council recently won the bid for the EPC project of Xinxi District, a municipal infrastructure construction project in the eastern economic zone of Shantou, Guangdong. The winning bid was 2.93 billion yuan and the construction period was 30 months. The main construction contents of the project are 1 tunnel, 3 bridges and 13 municipal roads. Xinxi District is the future urban center of Shantou City, and has the functions of residence, culture, commerce, tourism and leisure. After the completion of the project, the transit time of Shantou East Coast New City and the old city will be shortened, and the urban agglomerations of Shantou, Chaozhou and Jieyang will be further constructed to realize the complementary and concentrated development of the three cities in eastern Guangdong.

EPC Project of Infrastructure Construction in Xicheng Zaoyuan Area, Linyi, Shandong

The consortium formed by China Communications and Third Aviation Administration and the Second Gongyuan recently won the bid for the EPC project for infrastructure construction in the Xicheng Zaoyuan area in Linyi, Shandong. The total investment of the project is 13.9 billion yuan and the cooperation period is 5 years. The project is located in Linyi City, Shandong Province. The area covers the east of Mengshan North Road, the south to the left bank of Zhehe River and Changchun Road, the west to the boundary of Zaoyuan Town, and the north to Yongan Road. The planned total area is about 9.4 square kilometers. The construction content mainly includes public welfare projects such as municipal roads and supporting facilities, public facilities, green landscapes and resettlement. After the project is completed, it will accelerate Linyi to build a modern shopping mall, an ecological water city, and a famous cultural city, injecting new impetus into Linyi's economic and social development.

Development and Comprehensive Upgrade Project of Kirin Lake Area in Zhaoqing High-tech Zone

Led by China Communications Fourth Aviation Bureau, a consortium with a public hospital and a public regulatory institute recently won the bid for a comprehensive upgrade project for the development of the Kirin Lake area in Zhaoqing High-tech Zone. The winning amount was 7.314 billion yuan, the project cooperation period was 18 years, and the construction period was 6 years. 16 years (the construction period and the operation period partially overlap). The project is located in the core area of the high-tech zone in Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. The main construction contents include the repair of the road network around Kirin Lake and the restoration of the ecological wetland of Kirin Lake, the upgrade and reconstruction of the rapid three-dimensional traffic of Dawang Avenue, and the construction of a cold chain logistics comprehensive park. The implementation of the project will further improve the road network structure of Zhaoqing City, increase the level of urban public services, and promote the high-quality green development of the economic and social areas of the high-tech zone.

Guangdong Nuclear Power Offshore Wind Power Project Intensive Construction Section I

China Communications and Communications Administration 3 has recently won the bid for the I-contract for the intensive construction of China Guangdong Nuclear Power’s Guangdong offshore wind power project. The winning bid was about 5.9 billion yuan and the construction period was 501 calendar days. This project is the largest offshore wind power project won by China Communications Construction in a single bid. The project is located near Houhu and Jiazi waters in Lufeng City, Guangdong Province. It is the first offshore wind power project in East Guangdong to realize the construction of the main offshore project, with a planned installed capacity of 1.4 million kilowatts. The construction mainly includes 110 single pile foundations and 35 jacket foundations, 46 5.5 MW and 94 6.45 MW wind turbine installations, and the construction of four 220 kV offshore booster stations. After the project is completed, it will further accelerate the development of clean energy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which is of great significance for optimizing the power supply structure, implementing environmental protection responsibilities, and promoting green economic development.

Tianjin Metro Line 2 and 3 stock PPP project

China Communications Construction won the bid for the stock PPP project of Tianjin Metro Lines 2 and 3. The project procurement budget was about 58.968 billion yuan. This is the first subway PPP project in the country and the first subway line operated by China Communications Construction in China. The project adopts the "PPP+TOT" model. China Communications Construction and the Tianjin Municipal Government form a project company and sign a project contract in accordance with the proportion of equity, authorizing the project company to be responsible for the investment, financing, operation, and operation of Tianjin Metro Line 2 and 3 during the cooperation period. Maintenance, additional investment and renovation. Tianjin Metro Line 2 has a total length of 27.14 kilometers and a total of 20 stations; Metro Line 3 has a total length of 33.6 kilometers and a total of 26 stations. China Communications Construction is deeply involved in the Tianjin rail transportation market. The PPP project of the first phase of the Tianjin Metro Line 11 project under construction started on July 12, 2019. It is the first full-line subway project implemented by China Communications Construction in North China.

Linkong Road, Lingkong Economic Zone, Hebei, and supporting infrastructure projects

On June 17, the China Communications First Public Works Group won the bid for the EPC general contract project of Linkong Road (Wanxing Road-Guangxing Road) and supporting infrastructure projects in Langfang Economic Zone, Langfang, Hebei Province. The bid amount was 1.53 billion yuan and the construction period was 730 calendar days. The project starts from Wanxing Road, Guangyang District, Langfang City, crosses the Mizhuo Expressway and Langzhuo Road, and finally reaches Guangxing Road. It is an integrated municipal infrastructure in the Langfang District of Beijing Daxing International Airport. The construction section has a total length of 7.7 kilometers, and the construction content mainly includes roads, bridges, reclaimed water, communications, power pipe corridors and sponge facilities. The construction design of the project fully combines the construction concept of "humanities, green, science and technology" in the airport economic zone from the perspective of function, style, ideas, and goals, forming a distinctive airport feature. After the project is completed, the construction of the Langfang Airport Economic Zone will be accelerated, the skeleton road network system in the area will be improved, the park’s external traffic and distribution area transportation capacity will be improved, and park development and economic linkage development will be promoted.

Zhanjiang East Island Industrial Land Soft Ground Treatment Project Phase II Project

On June 10, the Guangzhou Aviation Administration won the bid for the Zhanjiang City East Island Industrial Land Soft Ground Treatment Project (Phase 2). The winning bid was 2.29 billion yuan and the construction period was 394 calendar days. The project is located in the northern part of the East Island, and the main construction content includes industrial land soft foundation treatment and iron and steel industry land leveling. After the project is completed, it will be used as the land for the BASF (Guangdong) Integrated Base Project. The BASF (Guangdong) Integration Base Project is my country's first wholly foreign-owned large-scale petrochemical integration project and the largest single foreign-invested project in Guangdong Province, with a total investment of over US$10 billion. After the project is completed, it will help Zhanjiang to build a world-class integrated base for the upstream and downstream of the petrochemical industry, injecting strong momentum for Zhanjiang to accelerate the construction of the sub-center city in Guangdong Province and the regional development pattern of “One Core, One Belt, One District” in Guangdong Province.

Guangming Road Area, Zhaoling District, Luohe City, Henan Reconstruction Project

China Communications 4th Bureau recently won the bid for the reconstruction project of Guangming Road area (including Wanzhuang Chengzhong Village) in Zhaoling District, Luohe City, Henan Province. The bid amount was 5.432 billion yuan and the construction period was 4 years. The project uses the EPC model to be constructed in two phases, covering an area of 635 mu, a construction area of 1.4 million square meters, including 1.2 million square meters of above-ground construction area, and 200,000 square meters of underground construction area. The construction content mainly includes residential areas, commodity trading areas, Supporting apartments and hotel facilities. After the completion of the project, the living conditions of local residents will be improved, new urbanization will be promoted, the city’s population absorption and comprehensive carrying capacity will be enhanced, and economic and social development will be promoted.
