It is reported that the Hainan Refining & Chemical Corporation's million-ton ethylene project with a total investment of 28.1 billion yuan will be completed in 2022. After the project is put into operation, the Yangpu Petrochemical industry chain will be fully integrated, which will greatly promote the development of domestic advanced agriculture, green chemical, tourism and health industries, and directly drive the development of industries worth more than 100 billion yuan, which will improve Sinopec’s international market competition. It has a positive effect on ensuring national energy security.
