At the end of April, at the invitation of MQA, a CAA delegation went to Malaysia to attend its 30th anniversary series of events. CAA President and SBM General Manager Fang Libo accompanied the delegation on a visit and signed a memorandum of cooperation with Malaysia on behalf of the association, opening a new chapter of cooperation in the sand and gravel industry between the two countries.

At the 30th anniversary celebration of MQA, Fang Libo introduced the development status, association functions, and cooperation prospects of China's sand and gravel industry to the Malaysian representative. The members of the Chinese delegation introduced relevant situations to the Malaysian side in their respective fields, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the potential and direction of future cooperation, and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
During the equipment and technology exhibition held at the same time as the celebration, Datuk Seri Zhuo Qingzhong, the chairman, pointed out that in the past, the technology and equipment enterprises participating in Malaysian industry activities were mainly European and American enterprises. This year, the proportion of Chinese enterprises has significantly increased, reflecting the rapid development of China's sand and gravel industry and the high recognition of Chinese equipment, technology and products by the Malaysian industry. The investment and cooperation between the two countries' enterprises are becoming increasingly close.

In the following days of on-site inspections, Fang Libo and the delegation visited sand and gravel associations and representative enterprises in Selangor, Perak, Penang, Johor and other places, conducted on-site research on local quarrying enterprises, and shared valuable experience from China's large-scale, green, and intelligent transformation in the past decade.

During the inspection gap, Fang Libo specially returned to the office where SBM had witnessed its twenty year journey of rooting in Malaysia. This determination to take root overseas is not only reflected in the output of equipment technology, but also deposited in the brand of "people". When communicating with local colleagues, William was frequently mentioned. As the head of SBM Malaysia, William's diligence and reliability, which has been rooted in the front line for more than ten years, have become SBM's most vivid business card in the local area, which is also the driving force for China's intelligent manufacturing to win deep trust in Malaysia.
This visit not only consolidated the friendly relationship between industry organizations in China and Malaysia, but also demonstrated SBM's confidence as an 'overseas cultivator' through on-site research and reputation verification. In the future, SBM will continue to cultivate the Southeast Asian market with reliable personality and leading technology, and contribute Chinese strength to the sustainable development of the global sand and gravel industry.Editor/Gong Ziwei
