On the morning of April 19, 2021, Li Qiang, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, and Shi Taifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Director of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress, led a party and government delegation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to COSCO SHIPPING. Fu Gangfeng, deputy secretary of the party group, introduced the group's relevant situation to the delegation. In the afternoon of the same day, COSCO SHIPPING Group and the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Suzhou. Shi Taifeng and Fu Gangfeng attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the signing. Huang Xiaowen, deputy general manager and party member of COSCO Shipping Group, and Huang Zhiqiang, vice chairman of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

According to the agreement, COSCO SHIPPING Group and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will strengthen cooperation, further integrate into the national One Belt One Road initiative, jointly promote the construction of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, unblock the China-Europe Express Railway, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. Relevant leaders of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the main persons in charge of relevant alliance cities and departments of the Autonomous Region, the main persons in charge of relevant enterprises, the assistant general manager of COSCO Shipping Group and the chairman of COSCO Shipping Logistics Han Jun participated in the event.Editor/Xing Wentao
