On September 6, 2021, Henan Provincial Public Resources Trading Center announced that the Henan Provincial Transportation Development Group Co., Ltd., Jiaozuo-Pingdingshan Expressway from Xingyang to Xinmi section of the new construction of the new project investor cooperation unit won the bid announcement, China Railway Eighteenth Bureau Group Co., Ltd. The bid section of the XMSG-1 project won the bid; the XMSG-2 bid section of the CCCC Fourth Navigation Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd.; the XMSG-3 bid section of the CCCC First Public Works Group Co., Ltd. The total investment is about 9.9 billion yuan.

Project Overview

The starting point of the project is located in the east of Bashui Town, Xingyang City. The Bashui hub is connected to the Lianhuo Expressway. After that, it will cross the Bashui River and Longhai Railway to the south. In the west of Gaoshan Town, the Gaoshan Interchange will be connected to the west extension of Longhai Road. Fujialing crosses the Zhengxi Railway Station in the south, and enters Gongyi City to the south. In Tieshan Village, the Mihe Interchange is connected to the west extension of Zhongyuan Road. Set up the Minan Village to connect the S315 and S233 connecting lines, and the route will enter Xingyang again to the south, and the Huancuiyu Interchange will be set in the north of Shijing Village to connect the G310 southwestern section of Zhengzhou, and the route will enter Xinmi City through the east side of the Huancuiyu Scenic Area. In the northeast of Fengzhuang Village, set up Fancun Hub Interchange to connect with Zhengshao Expressway, set up Qinshui Road Interchange in the west of Songzhai Village to connect the west extension line of Qinshui Road, then cross the Zhengzhou Coal Group special line to the south, and set up cattle in the north of Dahuting Village. The shop is connected to the old S316. After crossing the Zhengdeng Expressway to the north of Cuigou Village, it will reach the end of the project. The Dacuigou hub is connected to Shangdeng Expressway.

Henan Transportation Development Group Co., Ltd. is divided into three bidding sections for the new construction of the Xingyang-Xinmi section of the Jiaozuo-Pingdingshan Expressway. The specific sections are shown in the table below.

The total length of the project route is about 45.845 kilometers, of which Xingyang is about 20.935 kilometers, Gongyi is about 9.391 kilometers, and Xinmi is about 15.519 kilometers. The entire line adopts two-way six-lane highway technical standards construction, with a design speed of 100 km/h and a roadbed width of 33.5 meters. The design of bridges and culverts adopts Grade I and Grade I of highway for vehicle load, design flood frequency adopts 1/3O0 of extra-large bridges, and 1/1O0 of other bridges and culverts and subgrades. Other technical indicators are implemented in accordance with "Highway Engineering Technical Standards" (JTG B01-2014) and related specifications.
