On November 4, 2021, the preliminary design of the Yancheng Dafeng Port Railway branch line was officially approved by the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission.

Dafeng Port Railway Branch Line

The project starts at the southern end of Dafeng West Station on Xin-Chang Railway and ends at Dafeng Port Station. The main line is 50.622 kilometers long. It mainly builds new railway main line, Dafeng Port Station and Dafeng Port Logistics Center project, connecting with existing new ones. Dafeng West Station of Changjiang Railway and Dafeng South Station are reserved. The technical standard is National Railway Class II, single line. The total investment is about 4.54 billion yuan, and the construction period is two and a half years.

According to reports, the Dafeng Port Railway branch line is scheduled to start construction across the board in 2021. After completion, it will greatly improve the transportation system of the Dafeng port area of Yancheng Port, and drive the deepening of the regional economic and social development. Editor/He Yuting
