Bay Ware and Ulsan City sign a memorandumof understanding on offshore wind power

According to BayWare, Floating Wind has gained a high degree of public support in Ulsan City, partly because Song Zheho, the city’s chief, promoted the development of the industry and thereby brought benefits to the local community. Public support is a key consideration for the South Korean government in determining where offshore wind power should be focused. By 2030, multiple developer consortia near Ulsan may develop several thousand megawatts of floating wind power.
