February 10, 2021 Romania's Buzau-Focsani highway project has received official approval from the country's government. The project is expected to cost 1.47 billion euros and the route will be part of the international TEN-T network.
The highway will connect the capital Bucharest with Ploiesti and Siret in one direction and Julgiu in the other direction. The construction work will be divided into four separate parts. The project will construct 23 bridges of various lengths, as well as 6 major overpasses and 4 service areas. Keywords: engineering construction, engineering news
Romania currently has a total of 506 kilometers of highways, of which the No. 1 highway with a total length of more than 150 kilometers was built before 1989. In addition, Luo is building about 300 kilometers of highways, most of which come from EU funds.Editor/XingWentao
