[China Railway Wins Bid for National Highway 109 New Line High-speed PPP Project] <p>Recently, a consortium of China Railway and its wholly-owned subsidiary China Railway Second Bureau Group and other parties won the bid for the government and social capital cooperation (PPP) project on the National Highway 109 New Line Expressway (West Sixth Ring Road-City Boundary Section). The total investment of the project is 220.92 billion yuan (including 15.394 billion yuan in construction and installation fees). The total length of the 109 National Highway New Line Expressway (West 6th Ring Road to the city boundary) is about 65.455 kilometers. It is constructed in accordance with the standards of the highway and the designed speed of the entire line is 80 kilometers per hour.
