Zeng Jinghua, director of the Chongqing Sino-Singapore Demonstration Project Administration, said at a local press conference on the 8th that the "Sino-Singapore (Chongqing) Strategic Connectivity Demonstration Project "New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor" jointly compiled by China and New Zealand The "Cooperation Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Cooperation Plan") was officially issued recently. China and Singapore will fully tap the potential of cooperation between western China and ASEAN around the "new international land-sea trade channel", and jointly shape the new highlights of the Belt and Road Initiative.

The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (referred to as the New Land-Sea Corridor) is a strategic channel with multiple economic effects jointly created by China and New Zealand relying on the China-Singapore interconnection project through regional linkages and international cooperation. It has been in operation for nearly 5 years.

According to the "Cooperation Plan", the new land-sea corridor will form a network development pattern of "dual hubs, multiple fulcrums, and multiple channels". Taking Chongqing, China and Singapore as "dual hubs", with Nanning, Guangxi, Chengdu, Sichuan and other important cities in western China as "multiple fulcrums", with Qinzhou, Guangxi and other Beibu Gulf ports in China as important meeting points, through various transportation such as railway, public, water and air The combination of methods forms a "multi-channel", which efficiently connects western China and ASEAN countries.

The "Cooperation Plan" clarifies that the new land-sea channel will carry out key cooperation in the fields of trade, industry, deepening infrastructure and supply chain logistics, improving financial services and investment, and strengthening the digital construction of the channel.

Specifically, the diversified cooperation between China and New Zealand includes: accelerating the "single window" cooperation, promoting the data exchange of interconnection between the two countries, and jointly building the "single window" intergovernmental alliance network; further strengthening the cooperation in trade in productive services and cross-border e-commerce ; Improve the level of auto industry cooperation between Chongqing, Singapore and other countries and regions along the route; encourage enterprises in western China and Singapore market players to carry out third-party market cooperation in ASEAN countries; rely on the China-Singapore (Chongqing) dedicated international Internet data channel to build a new land-sea channel Logistics comprehensive information platform to promote information exchange and sharing, etc. Keywords: One Belt One Road, One Belt One Road News, One Belt One Road Project

By 2025, the new land-sea channel will initially form a new mechanism for cross-border and cross-regional cooperation. The total trade volume of Chinese provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) along the route with ASEAN is expected to reach 180 billion US dollars, and the railway-sea combined transport container volume of the channel will reach 500,000 TEUs. The number of trains will reach 2,000, basically achieving a balanced development of upstream and downstream; by 2035, a three-dimensional, multi-dimensional, efficient, open, safe and stable modern interconnection network will be formed that effectively connects the Eurasian continent and benefits western China, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Europe and other regions. Editor/XuNing
