Wang Yi said that with the personal care and promotion of President Xi Jinping and President Mirziyoyev, China-Ukraine relations have been elevated to a new height of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, showing broader prospects for development. The two sides continued to deepen strategic mutual trust, and made positive progress in all-round mutually beneficial cooperation. The growth of economic and trade investment between the two countries is encouraging, major projects have been launched, the mutual visa exemption agreement has been implemented, and the Uzbekistan Tourism Year has been successfully opened in China. China is ready to work with Uzbekistan to accelerate cooperation in key areas, promote the early commissioning of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway, expand cooperation in emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, digital trade and climate change, and create a more eye-catching "report card" of cooperation, so as to help each other advance the process of modernization and accelerate development and revitalization. China will, in accordance with the goals and tasks set out in the Central Conference on Peripheral Relations, adhere to the neighborhood principles of good-neighborliness, peace and security, prosperity and good-neighborliness, and work together to build a community with a shared future in its neighborhood, and is ready to work with Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries to consolidate strategic mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation, and build a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future.

Saidov said that under the strong leadership of President Xi Jinping, China has made remarkable development achievements in the new era, which fully demonstrates the profound accumulation of Chinese civilization, for which the Ukrainian side deeply admires. Thanks to the foresight of the two heads of state, Ukrainian-Chinese relations have been upgraded to an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, pointing out a new vision for practical cooperation between the two countries in various fields. The Ukrainian side cherishes the fraternal friendship between Ukraine and China, firmly abides by the one-China principle, and is willing to continue to firmly support each other with China and become a reliable shoulder to each other.

Saidov said that the current international landscape has undergone profound changes, and the strategic significance of the China-Central Asia mechanism has become increasingly prominent. Uzbekistan supports a series of important global initiatives put forward by President Xi Jinping and welcomes the guidelines set by China's convening of a working conference on neighboring countries. Uzbekistan firmly supports WTO rules and is ready to strengthen cooperation with China to jointly address challenges, uphold multilateralism and inject stability into the world.

Wang Yi elaborated on China's principled position on the tariff issue, stressing that certain countries adhere to their own priorities, engage in bullying pressure and coercive transactions, and provoke trade wars for no reason, exposing their extreme egoism and only further weakening their own credibility. China firmly stands on the right side of history and international rules, and stands ready for solidarity and cooperation among comrades, like-minded countries, to jointly uphold multilateralism, defend fairness and justice, oppose protectionism, and never allow the world to return to the jungle of the jungle of the jungle.

The parties also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the SCO. Saidov said that the Ukrainian side fully supports China's role as a chair and believes that the Tianjin summit will be a complete success and inject new and strong impetus into the development of the SCO.(This article is from the official website of Jiandao www.seetao.com it may not be reproduced without permission, otherwise it must be investigated, please indicate Jiandao.com + original link) Jiandao.com strategic column editor / Sun Fengjuan
